This position is located in an outpatient office setting, allowing you to engage directly with patients in a hands-on manner. You will work within a professional and inviting atmosphere alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes other physical therapists, technicians, and administrative staff. With weekly scheduled hours totaling 40 hours and variable weekends as required, the role offers a work-life balance conducive to personal and professional fulfillment.

As a Physical Therapist at Redbud, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify physical impairments, functional limitations, and the need for therapeutic interventions.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that align with each patient’s goals and capabilities.
• Providing consultations to other healthcare professionals regarding continuity and coordination of patient care.
• Maintaining precise documentation that includes treatment goals, progress notes, and discharge plans while complying with all applicable regulations and professional standards.
• Engaging in patient education to empower individuals and their families about their conditions and rehabilitation processes.
• Participating in community outreach, marketing initiatives, and continuous quality improvement projects.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff, including physical therapy aides and students.
• Attending staff meetings regularly to discuss departmental objectives and share insights to enhance clinical practices.

The patient population you will work with primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and those managing chronic pain. You will cater to a diverse demographic, ensuring culturally competent care that acknowledges and respects each patient’s unique background.

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in computer and word-processing skills to facilitate efficient documentation and communication.

While not mandatory, the following experience is desirable:

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation processes.
• Demonstrated history of leadership within a clinical team or interdisciplinary practice.
