Key Responsibilities:
- Implement secure system designs using best practices in software and systems engineering.
- Provide end-to-end IT support in secure lab environments, from desktops to servers.
- Manage system access, patching, and release planning for hardware/software.
- Support classified networks and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Administer and maintain Linux and Windows systems, including virtualized environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues; automate tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
- Integrate and maintain applications and infrastructure in accordance with RMF/JSIG standards.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (MD Customer)
- CI Poly within the last 5 years
- 9+ years of experience in lab/test environments and classified networks.
- Strong background in Linux and Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with IT hardware, networking equipment, and HPC systems.
- Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep experience with Linux (RHEL), Windows Server/Desktop, VMware, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with GPOs, scripting (PowerShell), and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with system backups, patching, and COTS software.
- Knowledge of RMF/JSIG compliance and secure system integration.
