What is a Red Seal plumber?

Red Seal Plumbers are certified tradespeople who have passed the Interprovincial Red Seal examination in plumbing, allowing them to work as qualified plumbers across Canada. The Red Seal endorsement signifies a high standard of skill and knowledge in the plumbing trade, covering installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. Earning this certification demonstrates that a plumber meets national standards and can work in any Canadian province or territory without needing to recertify. Red Seal Plumbers are in demand for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring the safe and effective management of water, drainage, and gas systems.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a Red Seal plumber?

Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication with clients and team members are valuable soft skills.
