Job description

  • Design, deploy, upgrade, and manage production-grade Red Hat OpenShift (Kubernetes) clusters at scale
  • Architect and implement enterprise storage solutions on OpenShift (Ceph, Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation, Rook, PVs, PVCs, StorageClasses, CSI drivers)
  • Design and manage advanced networking configurations including Multus, SR-IOV, OVN-Kubernetes, Network Policies, Ingress, Load Balancers, and service mesh integration
  • Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using ArgoCD, Flux, or similar tools
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both infrastructure and application layers
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and OpenShift operators
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, networking, and cluster operators
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, backup, disaster recovery, and security compliance for OpenShift environments
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate closely with DevOps, SRE, Security, and Application teams
  • Stay current with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Ceph, and related ecosystem advancements

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing production Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
  • Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift (certification such as EX280, DO280, or DO410 is highly preferred)
  • Deep hands-on experience with OpenShift Storage:Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF)Ceph (Rook)Persistent storage, snapshots, cloning, and performance tuning
  • Strong background in Networking:OVN-Kubernetes, Multus CNI, SR-IOV, MetalLB, Ingress ControllersNetwork policies, service mesh (Istio/Service Mesh), and advanced routing
  • Solid DevOps experience:GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • CI/CD (Jenkins, Tekton, GitHub Actions)
  • Scripting (Bash, Python, Go)
  • Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL 8/9)Experience with monitoring and observability stacks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator (EX280) or Specialist certifications
  • Experience with bare-metal, and hyperscaler deployments
  • Knowledge of OpenShift Virtualization, Serverless, and Pipelines
