Job Summary:
Alpha Consulting Corp. is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist with expertise in Red Hat OpenShift. This role involves managing and migrating virtualized environments on cloud platforms, administering OpenShift clusters, and ensuring high availability and security compliance for applications.
Responsibilities:
• Administer Oncor’s multiple OpenShift clusters.
• Assist various project teams with application migrations to Oncor’s Platform-as-a-Service offerings.
• Implement, customize, operate, recover, and tune the Red Hat OpenShift platform.
• Maintain the platform and manage middleware applications.
• Ensure high availability and load balancing for the platform and applications.
• Monitor, log, and ensure security compliance for the platform and applications.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Mandatory 3 to 5 days work from office
• 8+ years of Administration experience in multiple complex applications and tools
• OpenShift Administration
• OpenShift Data Foundation
• OpenShift Platform Plus
• Advanced Cluster Management
• Advanced Cluster Security
• Ceph Administration
• Extensive knowledge of Linux Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and deployment of containerized applications/microservices architectures
• Working knowledge of Java, JBoss, nginx, Node.js, and enterprise application architectures
• Specific knowledge and experience with migrating and refactoring applications to containerized workloads
• Experienced with automated deployment tools
