Job description

NO H1S OR 3RD PARTIES.

We're looking for talented, technically curious systems administrators to join our Systems team, with a focus on our Unix/Linux enterprise environment. You'll help support, automate, and manage a sophisticated, high-performance computing infrastructure โ€” including clustered compute environments, enterprise storage, and mission-critical Linux/UNIX server platforms โ€” alongside a broader multi-platform technology stack. If you enjoy solving hard technical problems and want to work hands-on with cutting-edge infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do day-to-day
You'll take on a mix of support and project work centered on our Unix/Linux server environment, including:
  • Administering and troubleshooting Linux/UNIX servers (Red Hat/RHEL, CentOS, or similar distributions) across production and development environments
  • Supporting clustered computing and high-performance storage solutions
  • Building automation and scripting to improve system reliability, efficiency, and scalability
  • Partnering with engineering and infrastructure teams on cross-platform projects spanning Linux/UNIX and Windows systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues at the infrastructure level
  • Contributing to the design and hardening of enterprise-grade compute and communications infrastructure
Successful team members are resourceful self-starters who combine independent research, hands-on experience, and sharp analytical thinking to solve unfamiliar problems and take on increasingly challenging work.
Who we're looking for
  • Solid working knowledge of Unix/Linux system administration โ€” shell scripting, process/service management, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting in a Linux/UNIX server environment
  • Familiarity with configuration management, automation tooling, and/or scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) a strong plus
  • Exposure to a Windows enterprise environment is helpful but secondary to Unix/Linux strength
  • A genuine interest in both building technology and helping others use it effectively, backed by strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills โ€” you'll work with global colleagues across a wide range of backgrounds and projects
  • We prioritize talent, curiosity, and a demonstrated track record of achievement over any single specific credential or years-of-experience checkbox
