Job description

Primary Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, administer, and maintain applications on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
  • Build, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Create and maintain Dockerfiles, container images, registries, and containerized application deployments.
  • Automate application builds, testing, and deployments using Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support and troubleshoot FIX messaging infrastructure and trading platform integrations.
  • Configure and maintain messaging platforms, including Broadridge Appia, QuickFIX, and SWIFT Alliance Access.
  • Monitor containerized applications, optimize platform performance, and resolve production issues.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and application teams to implement containerized solutions.
  • Perform Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and networking configuration.
  • Ensure platform security, compliance, and operational best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience with Kubernetes and container platform technologies.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
  • Strong experience with Docker, including image creation, container management, registries, and volumes.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline automation.
  • Good understanding of FIX Protocol and FIX order flow.
  • Experience with financial messaging platforms such as:
    • Broadridge Appia
    • Open-source QuickFIX
    • SWIFT Alliance Access
  • Strong Linux system administration experience.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting capital markets or electronic trading platforms.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and container orchestration best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools for containerized environments.
  • Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
