Job description

Elementary School:  Special Education Teacher- Qualifications:  IL Professional Educator License with LBS1 endorsement.  Elementary Special Education Teacher to work in a Public Day Program for students with emotional/behavioral disabilities.  Successful applicant must have solid classroom behavior management skills, ability to relate to and engage students in academic instruction focused on achieving academic success, and social emotional learning.  Salary starts at $44,100 and up, with health insurance, free dental and vision, board-paid TRS, life insurance, and paid sick and personal days.  Position available January 2026.
