Job description

As a Transportation Specialist volunteer, you will be the critical link between blood donors and blood recipients by delivering blood, platelets or other blood products from our blood centers and lab to local hospitals and the patients who need it!

Volunteers will drive a Red Cross vehicle for all deliveries. Many shifts are available including daytime, evening and weekend. Most shifts last approximately 4 hours.

Ideal Transportation Specialist Volunteers will enjoy driving but also engaging with the Red Cross staff and volunteers as well as hospital staff.
