Hiring Range

$46,300.00 - $60,175.00/Annual Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.


Overview
Functions as the immediate department supervisor to all transportation staff and is lead driver. Responsible for all aspects of the facility transportation to include driving, scheduling, payroll/timekeeping, vehicle maintenance, regulatory compliance, communication between transportation and other facility departments. Responsible for staffing, on-boarding and performance management of transportation team members. With customer experience paramount, continued focus on improving efficiency and services such that residents are always able to depend on the facility to get them everywhere they need and most of where they want to go. This position is responsible for reporting monthly statistics, data regarding maintenance and compliance and managing transportation expenses. Reports directly to the Director of Resident Services.

  • Demonstrates and maintains a professional yet warm relationship with residents. Committed to continuous improvement of transportation services. Demonstrates the ability to address concerns in a positive manner and follow through in a timely manner. Actively collaborates with other departments to provide services or help when or where they can.
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities. Hires customer focused team members and inspires them to deliver excellence by example. Actively listens to concerns and faces conflict and responds appropriately. Works well with other departments recognizing their role as part of the greater team. Committed to making the facility an even greater place to work.
  • Responsible for maintaining all facility owned vehicles and keeping records of any and all important data related to maintenance and compliance. Keeps vehicles clean and in top condition. Understands the regulatory environment of transportation as it relates to assisted living and nursing home licensure requirements.


Qualifications
Education

  • Healthcare experience (Preferred)
