As a Host in our legendary music and entertainment venues, you'll be the first friendly face to welcome our guests into our restaurant and live entertainment venue. You'll greet guests, manage reservations and waitlists, and escort them to their seats while creating a welcoming atmosphere. As the ideal candidate you'll have fun sharing your passion for music heritage by creating engaging and memorable guest experiences!
  • Greet all guests promptly with a smile and sincere welcome. Assist with venue directions as needed. Thank guests for their visit and warmly invite them to return. Communicate guest feedback and concerns to management.
  • Manage incoming guest flow. Estimate and communicate wait times, and escort guests to appropriate areas (e.g., tables, bars, elevators, stairs, waiting zones, or retail sections).
  • Provide confident and friendly guidance to guests, including details of upcoming events.
  • Maintain waitlist to maximize service efficiency. Communicate ongoing logistics such as wait time, large parties, special events, etc. to restaurant management.
  • Walk with guests while escorting them to tables, present menus, and wait for guests to settle before leaving the table.
  • Maintain clean and orderly food service environments during operation and after service. Follow sanitation procedures required by health regulatory agencies in public areas and back of house.
  • Support basic front-of-house service needs. Deliver food and beverages to table and pre-bus as needed.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance, training, and company policies.
  • Attend pre-shift meetings and complete defined opening, running, and closing duties.
  • Model company service basics. Follow all corporate policies, safety and security procedures, andbrand SOPs. Promptly report accidents, facility issues, or unsafe conditions to management.

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
  • Experience in restaurant operations preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks with efficiency and composure
  • Able to work during peak times, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to support business needs
Physical Requirements
Speak and hear to communicate with guests and use both near and distance vision for operating the POS system. Stand and walk for extended periods, including on uneven surfaces and while carrying items. Frequently climb stairs throughout the venue. Regularly lift and carry up to 25 lbs., and occasionally sit, kneel, bend, and reach. Manual dexterity for tasks such as using a computer.
