Job description

The mission of SA Recycling is to redefine the Scrap Metal Industry to meet today's challenges and tomorrow's opportunities by being the industry leader in safety and environmental compliance, by building lasting customer relationships, by fostering professional growth for our employees, and by sharing our success with the community.
Objectives
• Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawers at ends of shifts, and calculate daily transactions using computers, calculators, or adding machines.
• Generates invoices, itemize lists and tickets showing amount due, verifying weights, prices, and extensions.
• Record and verify cash amounts received from controllers and prepare reports for daily transactions.
• Run tape for daily tickets paid out.
• Pay out money after verifying numerical amounts agree.
• Enter customers' transactions into computers records and issue computer-generated receipts.
• Identify transaction errors.
• Arrange monies received in cash boxes according to denomination and perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, & SA Recycling safety, health, & environmental rules, regulations, policies, &
procedures.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Excellent mathematical skills required.

Hours for the position are as follows with overtime scheduled as necessary.
Monday- Friday 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM
Saturdays- 7:15 AM - 11:15 AM
