Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for small animal and exotic patients and is seeking a full-time Lead Veterinarian to join their team in Massachusetts. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian with a strong surgical background or special interest in surgery who is looking to combine clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities. The hospital is known for its collaborative culture, experienced support team, and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care while empowering veterinarians to practice medicine at a high level.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will serve as the medical leader of the hospital while maintaining an active clinical caseload. Responsibilities include promoting excellence in patient care, client communication, and medical standards, while partnering with hospital leadership on operational and strategic initiatives. The role involves supporting quality improvement efforts, advancing medical protocols, mentoring team members, and fostering a positive hospital culture.
