Account Manager / Recruiter
Reports To: Branch Manager / President
Position Summary
The Account Manager / Recruiter is responsible for recruiting, hiring, and retaining qualified employees while managing client relationships to ensure exceptional service and successful placements. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, balancing recruiting, employee relations, account management, and business development to meet staffing goals.
Essential Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
  • Source, recruit, screen, interview, and hire qualified candidates.
  • Match candidates with client job requirements and company culture.
  • Coordinate interviews, orientations, onboarding, and start dates.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified talent.
  • Complete reference checks, background checks, drug screens, and employment verification.
  • Ensure all candidate records are accurate and up to date within the ATS.
Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients.
  • Conduct regular client visits, check-ins, and performance reviews.
  • Understand client staffing needs and proactively provide workforce solutions.
  • Resolve employee and client concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Monitor fill rates, attendance, retention, and client satisfaction.
  • Communicate staffing updates and workforce planning with clients.
Employee Relations
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned employees.
  • Manage attendance, coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance concerns.
  • Conduct regular employee follow-up calls and site visits.
  • Promote employee engagement and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and client expectations.
Business Development
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
  • Cross-sell additional staffing services and workforce solutions.
  • Assist with prospecting new clients through networking, referrals, and outreach.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and community events.
  • Support branch sales goals and revenue growth.
Administrative & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Complete client reports, recruiting metrics, and activity tracking.
  • Monitor recruiter KPIs, placements, and retention metrics.
  • Assist with payroll, scheduling, and workforce planning as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous recruiting, staffing, HR, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
