Pay is highly competitive - up to $35.00 / hour

Recovery Coach Job Description:
Recovery Coaches provide support and assistance to individuals that have history and/or current substance use. Recovery Coach positions are based on the recovery-orientated support environment that advances recovery orientation. These positions are trained and educated through MDOC to perform their job roles and will be trained in working with those under supervision. For this program, they will be assigned to a probation/parole office and will meet with individuals who have opioid or amphetamine use.
Tasks:
  • Educate about substance use and mental health
  • Meet with individuals to engage them in services
  • Educate about pathways to recovery
  • Develop a wellness plan with the individual
  • Communicate with agents about the treatment and needs/ concerns that the individual may have
  • Complete GPRA Assessments
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification: MDHHS (CPRC) or CCAR (Required)
