Job description

Complete Legal is a premier provider of comprehensive litigation support services. The available roles entail a variety of responsibilities, including court reporting coordination, record retrieval, and essential legal support functions.


We are seeking talented professionals to join our team in two key roles within our legal records and court operations division. This single listing covers both the Court Reporting and Records Department positions. Highly qualified candidates may be considered for either role — or a combined senior position — depending on experience and organizational needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate court reporting services for depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
  • Manage court reporters' schedules to ensure comprehensive coverage for all assigned cases.
  • Serve as the primary contact for attorneys, paralegals, and court reporters regarding scheduling, logistics, and inquiries.
  • Maintain detailed records of assignments, including client information, case specifics, and billing details.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve issues related to court reporting with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Assist in recruiting freelance court reporters.
  • Manage logistics for remote depositions, including video conferencing setup and technical compliance.
  • Retrieve and organize legal documents, court records, and relevant materials from courts, agencies, and private entities.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of retrieved records against case requirements.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Contribute to improving operational efficiency and client satisfaction within the team.


  • Supervise records intake in compliance with court rules
  • Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and security of all court records and sensitive documents
  • Oversee electronic records management systems
  • Manage records requests, subpoenas, and certification processes
  • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies to expedite record retrieval.
  • Provide leadership, training, and performance management to records staff

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in legal support roles focusing on court reporting coordination, record retrieval, or similar functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in paralegal studies or a related field.
