Job description

ODORZX Inc. is seeking an elite-level Master Detailer with Recon Technician expertise. This role is for a proven professional, someone with real-world, high-volume, correction and reconditioning experience, not entry-level or cosmetic-only detailing.

This position requires deep technical skill, independent judgment, and the ability to consistently deliver showroom- and resale-ready results under operational pressure.

Requirements

Core Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced paint correction (multi-stage), polishing, and finishing
  • Execute professional-level interior reconditioning (leather, plastics, odor remediation)
  • Conduct recon work including scratch repair, paint touch-up, headlight restoration, trim restoration, and defect correction
  • Diagnose surface damage and determine proper correction methods without supervision
  • Maintain strict quality standards across high-value and high-visibility vehicles
  • Work efficiently in production environments without sacrificing quality
  • Properly use and maintain professional tools, chemicals, and equipment
  • Adhere to safety, compliance, and company SOPs at all times
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
  • Minimum 10 years of real, hands-on experience as a professional detailer and recon technician
  • Demonstrated expertise in paint correction, wet sanding, and reconditioning work
  • Experience working with high-volume, dealership, fleet, or resale environments
  • Ability to independently assess damage and choose correct repair methods
  • Strong understanding of chemicals, tools, pads, compounds, and finishes
  • Reliable, punctual, and accountable, this role operates with minimal oversight
Disqualifiers (Read Carefully)

This role is not for candidates who:

  • Only have mobile detailing or side-business experience
  • Primarily wash, wax, or apply ceramic coatings without correction depth
  • Learned detailing exclusively from YouTube or social media
  • Cannot explain why they use certain tools or methods
Preferred Experience
  • Dealership recon or auction reconditioning background
  • Fleet or rental car refurbishment experience
  • Leadership or mentoring experience within detailing teams
Why ODORZX

This is a senior technical role, not a stepping stone. You'll be compensated accordingly, trusted with high-value assets, and expected to perform at a level that matches the pay.

If you're the kind of professional whose work speaks for itself, and you don't need training wheels, this role was written for you.
