Job brief
We are looking for a reliable Recon Technician to help the company build great established vehicles.
This position can be stressful, difficult and very rewarding at the same time. A recon technician should always be willing to learn new ways of performing and be respectful. Excellent team work skills and determination to hit our weekly goal are extremely useful to succeed in this task.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for receiving, stocking and cycle counting of parts and tools necessary for reconditioning of systems.
  • Reconcile discrepancies and work with Service Depot Supervisors, Production Controller, and Planners to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to process improvement to more efficiently perform reconditioning work on systems.
  • Process SAP material transactions in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Work with repair technicians and planners to expedite material to resolve shortages.
  • Maintain the security and accuracy of inventory
  • Maintains inventory control records, reporting them to management on a regular basis.
  • Repair various types of scratches, dents, and other cosmetic defects.
  • Paint systems to make remanufactured systems look new.
  • Assist Repair Technicians to perform System Audits.
  • As needed assist Repair Technicians in the Remanufacturing of Systems.
Qualifications
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Knowledge on automotive parts preferred.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Ability to communicate well with other crew members, service advisors and management.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Suite applications including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to learn and use additional software as needed.
  • Ability to perform a variety of inventory control related duties as required by the Inventory Control Manager.
  • Must be highly organized and pay attention to details.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently each day.
  • Able to stand and walk for a long period of time.
