Job description

Receptionist - Radiology

Performs a wide variety of secretarial, receptionist and general office duties for the Radiology department. Responsible for maintaining patient records and X-rays in PACS. Access patient information and images in PACS. Print images on film and/or cd. Assist physicians and patients with medical records and x-ray film as needed. Responsible for responding to subpoena's and request for the release of medical records ensuring appropriate documentation for each. Monitors supply levels and orders as needed. Assists with other related duties as required. Answer phones, greets customers, processes requisitions, performs image and report management functions. Population: department provides diagnostic radiological services required for adult and pediatric patients; inpatient and outpatient.
