Summary

Reporting to the Associate Director, Client Services, the Proposal Specialist will prepare proposals and task orders, ensuring coordination and tracking through the client relationship management (CRM) system. Additionally, this role will work closely with the Commercial team, Client Managers, and relevant stakeholders in Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and/or review proposals or statements of service for accuracy
  • Prepare sales price estimates for protocols, bid requests, study revisions, and additions using site-suggested selling prices
  • Update and maintain the CRM system to ensure proper tracking
  • Follow up with internal (and potentially external) stakeholders as needed to ensure proposals are complete and meet customer needs, as well as quality and regulatory requirements
  • Assist management in monitoring sales pricing practices to ensure accuracy and relevance to study type, service, and operational processes
  • Ensure all required legal documents are in place
  • Interact with scheduling or project management groups to identify the dates for studies or services and assist with scheduling, as required
  • Support responses to RFIs through coordination with local stakeholders
  • Maintain and update the tools and processes required to provide accurate proposals within a short timeframe, such as price lists, budgeting templates, and customer-specific agreements
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned

Education

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in life sciences, applied sciences, business, or related field

Main Requirements

  • No prior experience is required; however, experience in histopathology, immunohistochemistry, and/or genomics, as well as in client services, budget preparation, or the use of a CRM system, would be considered an asset
  • Proficiency in French and English, spoken and written; the incumbent will be required to interact with colleagues outside Quebec and will be required to read and draft documentation in English, as required by industry regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

  • Full-time position, 100% remote. Candidates must be located in the Montreal area
