POSITION SUMMARY:
The North America Regional IT Manager leads IT operations and service delivery across multiple U.S. manufacturing and office locations. This role is responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and efficient technology environments that support business continuity and production operations.
This role is intended for a high-potential IT leader with strong operational discipline, executive presence, and a proven ability to deliver results in manufacturing or similarly complex environments. It offers the opportunity to strengthen leadership capability, shape regional IT strategy, and grow into broader enterprise leadership over time.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead regional IT operations: Oversee day-to-day support across multiple sites to ensure the availability, performance, and security of systems that support business and manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and lead teams: Recruit, coach, and develop site-based IT resources while building a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong service delivery.
  • Deliver strategic initiatives: Partner with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, and corporate IT to implement infrastructure, security, and modernization initiatives.
  • Drive service excellence: Establish and maintain ITSM standards, monitor SLA performance, and ensure proactive stakeholder communication.
  • Manage technology and compliance: Oversee endpoint lifecycle management, patching, compliance, and identity services in alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Support manufacturing and business operations: Provide reliable IT support for plant-floor systems and office environments, with a strong focus on uptime and continuity.
  • Oversee budget and vendors: Manage regional IT budgets, forecasts, vendor relationships, and asset lifecycle planning.
  • Ensure audit readiness and risk management: Support compliance with SOX, ISO, and internal controls, and lead incident response and business continuity planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Track key performance indicators such as service delivery, compliance, and user satisfaction, and implement improvements aligned to business priorities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Location: Fort Collins, CO
  • U.S.-based role with multi-site travel requirements.
  • Frequent presence in manufacturing environments, labs, and office settings.
  • Occasional regional or international travel, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 7+ years of recent and progressive IT experience, including multi-site IT operations support and direct team leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex operational environments.
  • Strong technical foundation across enterprise IT, including endpoints, identity, collaboration, and infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to operate structured IT service delivery using ITSM frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and business leaders.

Preferred
  • Experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or other mission-critical production environments.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, or Security+.
  • Experience supporting integrated OT/IT environments.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field

COMPENSATION:
As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $95,000 to $135,000 per year.
