Job description

About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional to build hands-on experience in a supportive, collaborative environment. You'll play a key role in day-to-day accounting operations while learning directly from experienced staff.

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions
  • Assist with monthly reconciliations and general ledger entries
  • Support month-end close activities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
  • Process expense reports and vendor payments
  • Assist with data entry and reporting in [QuickBooks/Excel/ERP system]
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding account status
  • Support senior accountants and the Controller with ad hoc projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
  • 0–1 year of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships count)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
