Job description

​MVP is looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate in our Grand Rapids location at 350 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49548. This position would require a valid, good standing driver’s license. As well as pre-employment drug screen, physical exam, and a background check for any position within the company.  
 
Job Type: Full-time 
Hours:
Monday - Friday
Compensation: $18.00/hour  
 
Our Warehouse Associates Typically: 

  • Have Good Customer Relations Skills with Clear and Concise Language Skills 

  • Enjoy Working Independently, but can Collaborate when Needed 

  • Utilize Technology such as a Laptop or Tablet 

  • Ability to Lift 50 pounds due to Lift and Move Functions 

  • Is Comfortable standing and walking for Majority of Shift 

  • Displays a Strong Attention to Detail 
     

Essential Functions: 

  • Pulling Orders 

  • Receiving Stock 

  • Organizing Stock 

  • Managing Shipping Process 

  • Unloading Trucks 

  • Proficiency in Matching Numbers

  • Cleaning and other General Janitorial Tasks 

  • Comply with all Safety Procedures within MVP's Guidelines 

  • Consistently and Reliably attend Shift Ready to Work when Scheduled 

  • Can lift up to 50 lbs. 

  • Perform any Other Duties as Assigned 

While not a requirement, the ideal candidate will have some experience working with UPS WorldShip.
