The Receiving Associate reports to the Inventory Manager and plays a crucial role in the on-time delivery of our customers' orders.

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm 

What you'll be doing:

  • Works closely with all warehouse departments to coordinate the efficient flow of products from the receiving area to the designated storage locations. Communicates effectively with team members to ensure a smooth transition of goods.
  • Responsible for the timely unloading of inbound trailers, ensuring the careful handling of food products to prevent damage or spoilage. Adheres to safety guidelines and protocols during the unloading process.
  • Conducts thorough inspections of received products to verify quantity, quality, and integrity. Report any discrepancies or damages promptly to the supervisor and follow established procedures for documentation.
  • Accurately records and documents all received shipments, including product details, quantities, and any discrepancies. Maintain organized and up-to-date records for easy reference.
  • Stays informed about and adhere to food safety regulations and warehouse operating procedures. Follows all guidelines related to the handling and storage of food products.

What you have:

  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Experience or comfort with working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees)
  • Strong verbal communications skills
  • Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to
  • Ability to thrive in a repetitive and fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
