Job description

Position Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join the Brea 2nd shift team. In this fast-paced, high-volume environment, our Receiving Department plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of incoming inventory. This position works closely alongside another receiver, requiring strong communication, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to stay organized under pressure.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of receiving and inventory management experience in a warehouse environment, particularly with SKU-heavy inventory. You should be comfortable handling multiple deliveries throughout the day, verifying incoming shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. We are looking for someone who thrives in a non-stop environment and takes pride in being a dependable part of a hardworking team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
  • Accurately process receiving documentation and update inventory systems
  • Assist in organizing and sorting materials for proper warehouse storage
  • Collaborate with receiving team member to manage daily workload
  • Communicate with purchasing, inventory, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the receiving area
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse receiving and inventory control experience
  • Experience with SKU-intensive inventory required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) regularly
  • Forklift certification is a plus
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to learn ERP software (P21)
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a close-knit team
