Job Summary
Selkirk Sport is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. In this hands-on role, you'll help keep our operations moving by receiving incoming shipments, verifying inventory, inspecting materials, and ensuring products are accurately documented and organized.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition to direct, full-time employment with Selkirk Sport following successful completion of the introductory period.
What You'll Do
  • Receive & Verify Shipments - Check incoming materials and products against purchase orders and packing slips to confirm quantities and SKU accuracy.
  • Inspect Incoming Materials - Identify damaged, defective, or incorrect items and communicate discrepancies to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain Inventory Accuracy - Accurately enter received inventory into internal systems and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Organize Materials - Label, sort, and properly store incoming products and materials so they are ready for production and fulfillment.
  • Support Warehouse Operations - Assist with internal stock transfers, outgoing shipments, and other warehouse needs as assigned.
  • Maintain Quality & Safety - Keep work areas clean and organized while following established safety procedures and warehouse SOPs.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory entry and record-keeping.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to learn and operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • A plus, but not required: previous warehouse, receiving, production, inventory, or forklift experience.

Growth & Direct Hire

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

The role is performed in an active warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment, noise, and varying temperatures. Consistent adherence to established safety procedures is required.
