As a Physical Therapist at Willpower Physical Therapy, you will work onsite in a modern outpatient facility equipped with the latest physiotherapy technology and ergonomic equipment. Our clinic environment encourages collaboration among healthcare professionals, and we maintain a strong focus on patient-centered care. With set work hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, this role supports a healthy work-life balance, allowing you to focus on the well-being of your patients as well as your personal needs.

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks directly impacting patient care and outcomes, including:

• Understanding and adhering to state practice acts while supervising physical therapy aides and support staff as necessary.
• Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific functional limitations and disabilities.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment protocols that are responsive to patient presentations and changes in their condition, ensuring adjustments are documented appropriately.
• Engaging in interdisciplinary consultations with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care while monitoring and documenting patients’ progress.
• Completing all necessary discharge planning and follow-up care, while maintaining clear and timely documentation of care activities and patient progress.
• Participating actively in staff meetings and contributing to clinical training sessions to continuously enhance our practice.
• Job-specific responsibilities include evaluating and directing treatment for patients needing physical therapy, reinforcing a focus on achieving positive health outcomes.

Our patient population includes a wide range of individuals from children to older adults, each presenting with unique needs, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your role will be crucial in tailoring interventions that not only restore physical function but also enhance overall patient well-being and independence. Your compassion, professionalism, and expert knowledge will inspire patients to engage wholeheartedly in their recovery journey.

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist as mandated by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating clinical competency.
• Current CPR certification to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.

While the minimum requirement is two years of outpatient orthopedics experience, candidates with additional skills in specialized therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy or sports rehabilitation, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is also desirable.
