Description:

The Warehouse 2 Associate is responsible for handling inventory, fulfilling customer orders, and assisting with rebar bending and cutting operations. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and effective coordination with other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.


Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment & Inventory Management:

  • Pull orders accurately and efficiently, reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Label and stage orders properly for sales staff or drivers to pick up.
  • Maintain organized bin locations and ensure stock levels are consistently filled.
  • Inspect damaged or defective shipments, reporting findings to management.
  • Ensure stock is rotated according to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) requirements.
  • Assign new bin locations for overstock or notify the supervisor when adjustments are needed.
  • Ensure no inventory or equipment leaves on an open reservation or without a proper ticket unless approved by management.

Rebar Bending & Cutting:

  • Understand and accurately fulfill fabricated orders, ensuring precise cuts and bends.
  • Operate rebar bending and cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized rebar area to improve workflow and efficiency.

Warehouse Operations & Safety:

  • Handle and maintain warehouse tools and equipment properly.
  • Assist customers when needed, providing prompt and courteous service.
  • Follow all established policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Communicate professionally across departments using radio acknowledgment.
