About the Role

As a Sales Associate, you will guide prospective homeowners through the home-buying process, from their initial visit through closing. You will build relationships with customers and real estate professionals, understand customer needs, present home and community options, and provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.

This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, generating business, and helping customers make an important purchase decision.

What You'll Do
  • Welcome and engage prospective homeowners and identify their needs, preferences, and buying goals.
  • Present our homes, communities, floor plans, features, options, and available homesites.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, customers, realtors, and referral sources.
  • Generate sales through walk-in traffic, company leads, prospect follow-up, networking, self-generated prospecting, realtor relationships, and customer referrals.
  • Maintain timely and consistent follow-up with prospects and leads to generate appointments and sales.
  • Guide customers through the sales and contract-to-close process, including coordinating with lenders, decorators, builders, and other internal partners.
  • Clearly communicate expectations, provide regular updates, and help ensure a smooth customer experience through closing.
  • Maintain accurate contracts, customer records, sales documentation, and required reports.
  • Stay informed about community inventory, pricing, products, and competitive market activity.
  • Maintain the model home, sales center, and community presentation according to established standards.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training, prospecting activities, and other initiatives designed to support sales performance.
  • Take ownership of sales results and proactively identify opportunities to improve performance.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A proactive approach to prospecting, follow-up, and business development.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and effectively present products and options.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customers and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Previous sales experience is preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends and maintain availability during established model home/sales center hours.
Why This Role Matters

Our Sales Associates play an important role in helping customers find and purchase their new home. Success in this position comes from building relationships, creating opportunities, providing an exceptional customer experience, and consistently delivering results.

Work Environment

This position is based primarily in a model home/sales center and assigned community. The role involves regular interaction with customers, prospects, realtors, lenders, builders, and other business partners. Weekend work is required, with specific days and hours based on the assigned community's sales center schedule.
