Is a realtor a well-paying job?

Realtors can earn a wide range of incomes depending on factors such as location, experience, and sales volume. Successful realtors often earn commissions from property transactions, which can lead to high earnings, but income is variable and not guaranteed. Many realtors work on a commission basis and need strong sales skills and networking to achieve higher pay.

What do realtors usually get paid?

Realtors typically earn a commission based on a percentage of the property's sale price, commonly around 5-6%, which is split between the buyer's and seller's agents. Their income depends on the number and value of transactions they complete, and they often work on a commission-only basis without a fixed salary. Successful realtors with strong sales skills and local market knowledge can earn a substantial income, but earnings vary widely among individuals.
