Tarantino Properties is looking to add an Asset Manager to join our growing company in Houston, Texas.


Tarantino Properties is a full-service real estate company specializing in income producing real estate. Founded in 1980, our company provides a full complement of property management, brokerage, leasing and renovation services for commercial, residential and senior living properties throughout the United States.


At Tarantino Properties, we have the people, the tools, the experience, and the expertise to accommodate a wide variety of real estate investment and management requirements. We specialize in commercial office leasing, apartment management, senior living management, retail space, flex, industrial and warehouse properties. We work with our clients to develop the business plans and make the key decisions that will help them ultimately reach their goals, because we only succeed when our clients do.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for assigned multifamily assets.
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, NOI, cash flow, and return on investment.
  • Analyze monthly operating statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Collaborate with property management companies to improve occupancy, resident retention, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee all aspects of property operations for assigned properties.
  • Monitor market trends, rental rates, competitive properties, and economic conditions.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Evaluate property performance using KPIs such as occupancy, collections, delinquency, concessions, leasing velocity, and maintenance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with lender requirements, partnership agreements, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Qualification and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in multifamily asset management, property management, or commercial real estate finance.
  • Strong understanding of multifamily operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience working with third-party property management companies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, MRI, or Entrata.
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards.
  • Ability to synthesize complex financial data into strategic recommendations.
  • Effective communicator with cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
