We are looking for a Survey Technician to join our team. Typical work performed, but not limited to Property Surveys, Boundary and Topographic Surveys, Construction Layout and Flood Elevation Certificates.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate field equipment and responsible for accurate data collection.
  • Responsible for setting up and taking down field equipment on job sites and care of equipment.
  • Take project site photographs as directed.
  • Perform daily downloads of data collector and photos.
  • Able to lift storm/sanitary manholes.
  • Must be able to dig for property evidence with shovel and walk over sloped terrain.
  • Work directly with office staff to review final documents.
  • Knowledge of land surveying operations and construction industry is a plus.
  • Complete assignments on time and within budget.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred.
  • Must enjoy working outdoors year around in all weather conditions.
  • Must have flexibility in daily schedule start times, particularly early mornings.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Candidate should be self-disciplined and able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Dependable and able to work as a team member.
  • Adhere to company standards of care.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
