Job description

COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Unison is a leading telecom and renewables infrastructure investment firm founded in 2003 that has successfully invested more than $2 billion in acquiring assets in the U.S. and Europe. Since 2021, we have been in partnership with Ardian, the global investment house with over $150 billion in assets under management. Unison continues to expand rapidly and is looking for talented, entrepreneurial people to grow with us.
The Team:
The Real Estate Paralegal will play a key role at Unison. We seek a real estate professional with an eye for detail who is experienced in multi-jurisdictional practice and will accelerate transactions to closing. Reporting to the Managing Director, Legal, the paralegal will work remotely full-time from their home office.
The Job:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing a pipeline of deals across the United States and updating closing checklists and trackers.
  • Preparing documents and coordinating the execution of closing packages.
  • Conducting due diligence, including reviewing leases, title commitments, site inspections, plats, and surveys.
  • Assisting with retrieval of required documentation for real estate transactions.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal descriptions.

Additional:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 4-8 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal, including at mid to large-sized law firm, is required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience with solar/wind ground leases and/or wireless leases is a plus.
  • Fluent with Office, Sharepoint, Salesforce, GIS and deed plotting software, and equipped to work remotely.

Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.

$90,000 - $95,000 a year
Annual Base Salary Estimated: $90,000
Plus additional quarterly bonus.
