Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Commercial Real Estate Project Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of transactional real estate projects and will oversee a diverse global portfolio of 500 sites, ranging from traditional offices and warehouses to specialized assets such as land, rooftops, and teleports. Serving as the single point of contact, the PM takes projects from original concept through final implementation by implementing scalable project management best practices. This role focuses on high-efficiency delivery and maintaining consistency across a large geographic footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High-Volume Execution: Actively supports efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience across the portfolio; implements established processes to ensure the delivery of project scope on time and within budget across hundreds of simultaneous site actions
  • Portfolio Coordination: Responsible for assembling project plans and team assignments, monitoring work efforts daily, and identifying resource needs; contributes to the development of options and recommendations that drive critical decisions
  • Financial Tracking: Manages project budgets including forecasts, funding requests, and invoice tracking; ensures cost allocation is accurate and project documents are maintained appropriately for audit and reporting
  • Executive Communication: Coordinates communication with all internal and external stakeholders; regularly meets with internal customers to provide status updates and gather feedback; responsible for building project decks and reports, translating complex portfolio data into a format that is easily digestible for the executive team
  • Vendor Performance: Ensures the timeliness and quality of third-party vendor and internal project deliverables; manages functional, quality, and timeline issues as they arise across the portfolio
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university; 2–4 years of related experience in real estate; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Domain Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of real estate project management and transactional real estate processes across various property types
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in word processing, spreadsheets, real estate databases, and project management software; ability to manage and control complex project budgets across multiple locations
  • Analytical and Presentation Skills: Ability to utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to analyze data; must be highly proficient in deck building and presentation design, with the ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable terms for leadership
  • Communication and Organization: Ability to prioritize and organize effectively in a fast-paced environment; develop strong working relationships with peers, project members, and external vendors

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
