REAL ESTATE & CONSTRUCTION COORDINATOR
REPORTS TO: VP OF REAL ESTATE & CONSTRUCTION
STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

The Real Estate & Construction Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the real estate, construction and facilities team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support and be part of the team managing the existing and new store portfolio.
  • Assist in setting up new store lease files and maintaining existing store files by handling correspondence related to rent escalations, rent abatements, change of ownership, insurance compliance and contact information.
  • Track and collect portfolio management data for senior level reports including rollouts.
  • Work cross functionally and support on the processing and inputting of lease amendments, CAM reconciliations, new leases, real estate committee packaging and filing.
  • Facilitate and support pipeline rollout reports including coordination with inside and outside stakeholders.
  • Assist and collaborate with construction team on the coordination and set-up of new projects including contracts, draws, utilities, allowance/close-out packages and overall project management.
  • Assist and provide support to the property management for coordination of tenant maintenance related matters with the in-house maintenance department, local service providers, third-party vendors and/or contractors to resolve property issues on an as needed basis.
  • Interact with finance and accounting teams to support rent roll and A/R and A/P processing.
  • Communicate orally and in writing to draft correspondence to Landlords and others to communicate lease requirements; ensuring compliance with requirements and to receive and resolve disputes
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
  • Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail real estate & construction portfolio management
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with ability to multi-task
  • Team player, detail oriented, organized, problem solving and eager to learn
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other programs including CoStar and AP systems
  • Knowledge of basic construction terms, familiar with ALTA Surveys, Title, Phase I (including Asbestos) reports, site plans and other due diligence items
  • Knowledge of real estate concepts, terms and processes

PAY RANGE: $28.85 - $31.25/hr
