Job description

** $500 sign on bonus after 90 days **


We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete and operating a volumetric concrete truck/heavy equipment & loaders. This role is essential for transporting ready mix safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is paramount. Must have flexible schedule with some evening & weekend work as needed. Must be able to climb/lift 50 lbs overhead. On the job training is provided and pay is based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and drive different types of trucks, including but not limited to volumetric concrete mixer, transporting and operating heavy equipment & loaders.
  • Ensure the safe and timely delivery of concrete to designated locations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
  • Load trucks using wheel loader or other equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). CDL class B minimum.
  • Familiarity with operating various truck types.
  • Experience in handling ready mix efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet tight delivery schedules.
