Job Description:

As a Ready Mix Driver at HRM Concrete, you will be responsible for delivering concrete to various job sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a ready mix truck to deliver concrete products to construction sites.
  • Follow all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Load and unload concrete, ensuring accurate delivery according to customer specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean and operational vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience driving a ready mix truck. 
  • Knowledge of local roads and traffic laws.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more to move materials as needed.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as needed.
