We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy a web application that enables business stakeholders to view, analyze, and interact with forecasting outputs generated by Data Science models. The ideal candidate will build intuitive, scalable, and secure applications that transform complex forecasting data into actionable insights through visualizations and reporting tools.
What will you do?
- Develop and maintain a web application using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
- Build interactive dashboards to display forecasts, trends, and key business metrics.
- Design and implement data visualizations using tools such as Chart.js, D3.js, Recharts, or similar libraries.
- Develop backend services using technologies such as .NET, Python or Node.js
- Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Implement authentication and role-based access controls.
- Create monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for production applications.
- Work with business stakeholders to improve the user experience
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing enterprise web applications.
- Strong experience with:
- React
- TypeScript/JavaScript
- HTML/CSS
- Git version control
- Familiarity with SQL databases and data modeling.
- Experience building data-rich applications and dashboards.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Special Requirementsย
- Experience supporting Data Science, Analytics, or Forecasting teams.
- Knowledge of forecasting concepts such as:
- Time series forecasting
- Demand planning
- Capacity forecasting
- Prediction intervals
- Model performance metrics
- Experience with:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Python
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
