About the Role
We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer who thrives across the entire stack โ from pixel to platform. You'll spend roughly 70% of your time crafting intuitive mobile experiences in React Native for Android and iOS, and 30% building the robust backend services that power them โ using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and modern SQL/NoSQL databases. Beyond shipping code, you'll help guide the team through complex technical challenges and play an active role in shaping the longโterm architecture of our systems.
What You'll Do
- Write clean, wellโtested, productionโgrade code across the full stack โ JavaScript/TypeScript, React, React Native, and Java โ and hold the bar high in code reviews
- Partner with crossโfunctional teams to translate business goals into reliable, scalable technical solutions that put the customer first
- Own your work endโtoโend: from clarifying requirements and prioritizing outcomes, to debugging production issues across desktop and mobile with speed and precision
- Communicate clearly and proactively โ status, blockers, and technical tradeโoffs โ to your team and stakeholders without needing to be asked
- Contribute to the reliability and scalability of our platform by actively engaging in crossโteam partnerships and providing meaningful architectural feedback
- Champion engineering excellence and Walmart's values in every line of code, every review, and every team interaction
What You'll Bring
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of handsโon experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS
- 3+ years of Java development experience
- 3+ years working with modern frameworks โ React, React Native, Vue, or Angular
- Solid experience building and integrating RESTโbased services
- A track record of developing, operating, and supporting highโvolume production applications
- Strong communication skills and a sharp, collaborative problemโsolving mindset

Salary and Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 โ $180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
Minimum Qualifications
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 yearsโ experience in software engineering or related area.
- Option 2: 4 yearsโ experience in software engineering or related area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masterโs degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
