Job Summary:
Partiful is dedicated to cultivating friendships through social events, and they are seeking an experienced App Infrastructure Engineer to enhance their mobile development systems. The role involves maintaining Expo infrastructure, optimizing app performance, and ensuring a seamless user experience across iOS and Android platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and evolve our Expo infrastructure, ensuring smooth upgrades and optimal configuration as we scale
• Leverage React Native's New Architecture and latest tooling (React Profiler, etc.) to identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks
• Build and maintain iOS-specific features like App Clips, Live Activities, and Widgets to create seamless user experiences
• Work with our close partners at Expo & Software Mansion, by testing out new feature releases and providing feedback
• Create tooling and infrastructure that improves developer velocity and code quality across the mobile team
• Establish monitoring and observability systems to track app performance, release health, and user experience metrics
• Collaborate with both product engineers and other infrastructure engineers to ensure infrastructure decisions enable feature development rather than constrain it
• Own and continuously improve our weekly app release process, from build to store deployment

Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years of experience building mobile applications with React Native
• Experience with Expo and managing mobile build/deployment infrastructure
• Strong understanding of New Architecture, React Compiler, and modern performance optimization techniques
• Track record of improving developer experience using CI/CD automation, observability systems (such as Sentry), and infrastructure tooling
• A builder’s mindset — you enjoy automating, optimizing, and empowering teams through great tooling
