Job Summary:
ShiftCode Analytics, Inc. is a company focused on providing analytics solutions, and they are seeking a Senior Java Developer. The role involves engaging in all phases of software development with a focus on Java and Spring Boot, while supporting projects related to Global Markets Risk and Capital Optimization.
Responsibilities:
• Engage in all phases of software development from design to implementation, focusing on Java/Spring Boot.
• Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate with global teams.
• Prioritize and efficiently manage production support alongside development tasks.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with JMS, Kafka, SOAP/REST Web Services, Quartz Scheduler, and ORM frameworks like Hibernate/Ibatis/Mybatis.
• Financial services background (Ideally Securities landing, foreign exchange, market risk management, collateral management - but not a requirement)
• At least 7 years of professional experience in Java development, preferably within financial services.
• Demonstrated experience in financial risk management projects is highly desirable.
Preferred:
• Experience with Public Cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in UNIX/LINUX bash/shell scripting.
• Knowledge of UI framework technologies like Angular JS, React JS.
