Job description

Job Summary:
1872 Consulting is seeking a mid to senior level Front End Engineer to help continue the development and improvement of their real-time based customer dashboard. The role involves working with ReactJS and Redux, as well as a deep understanding of the web development process.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2-5 years of proven experience as a Front-end developer
• Strong experience working with ReactJS and Redux
• Familiarity with Websockets and how they work
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
Preferred:
• Mapping / GIS experience is a plus (i.e. Google Maps, HERE Maps)
• Experience writing JavaScript code in a functional style is a plus
• Experience working with Ruby and/or Rails is a plus
