System App Dev & Sustainment Intern, Spring 2027 About the Role & Program We have spent nearly 100 years immersing audiences in new and spectacular experiences using groundbreaking technology! Your work as a Disney Intern would encourage innovation and bring new points of view to impact guests and consumers worldwide!

The System App Dev & Sustainment Analyst Intern is a full-stack development role that will work with leadership teams and other technical teams. They will be responsible for partnering with all areas to ensure smooth system performance and provide audits on a regular basis. In addition to regular projects, they will often be tasked with turning out quality, sustainable solutions within very short timeframes.

This role may also be responsible for providing administration and support functions for various systems. This role works with all areas of Disney Central and DRTSC as well as various divisions within Disney Global Business Technology. If selected for this role, you will report to the Manager-System Integration & Development.

What You Will Do

Develop applications to support business processes Troubleshoot applications post development End User support Partner with other application owners to create/utilize API's Conduct requirement gathering sessions for projects Develop training programs to roll out the applications Manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment Work with multi-functional teams across varying business units with varying priorities Required Qualifications & Skills Proven experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, and SQL Strong knowledge of web technologies and libraries such as REST, jQuery, AJAX, XML, JSON, React, Spring Boot, and Maven Demonstrated proficiency with Git Demonstrated proficiency with Linux and Bash, preferably Fedora-like systems such as CentOS or RHEL Demonstrated strong analytical skills Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills Ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI, etc.

Qualifications & Skills Previous project management experience Experience with Docker/Kubernetes Experience with TypeScript Experience with the Mantine React.js design framework Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC Experience with Unit Testing using Jest, JUnit, etc. Experience with web compiling and bundling technologies such as Babel, Webpack, etc. Familiarity with ORMs such as Hibernate, JPA, etc. Working experience with ServiceNow Call center experience Basic familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts and emerging AI tools.

Education

Currently enrolled undergraduate student studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field at an accredited college/university.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

Be at least 18 years of age Possess unrestricted work authorization Additional Information Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship Fully available from Monday - Friday, Eastern Standard Time, for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando area Florida Housing We provide limited housing opportunities for Florida Based Professional Interns through American Campus Communities.
