Job description

Responsibilities
Performs both cardiac and vascular ultrasound testing to include 2D echo/Doppler, dobutamine stress, exercise stress, and multiple vascular procedures including carotids, arterials, venous duplex, aorta, and renal artery duplex, as well as other related duties assigned by manager, supervisor or lead sonographer. Qualified individual is able to provide cardiac and vascular ultrasound to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population and provide all necessary documentation and preliminary interpretation of results.
Qualifications
Education
  • Graduate of registry approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Required
Work Experience
  • No experience required Required
  • 2 years of experience in each modality in a hospital inpatient, outpatient, or ambulatory setting Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required
  • Must be credentialed through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credential International (CCI) in both modalities at time of hire Upon Hire Required
  • Echocardiography: Upon Hire Required and
