Job description


Essential Job Duties:
  1. Performs Echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echos (TEE), and Stress Echocardiograms.
  2. Performs upper and lower extremity Arterial and Venous exams.
  3. Performs Carotid Duplex exams.
  4. Assimilates data for digital transfer and interpretation by completing calculations and preparing preliminary reports for the interpreting physician.
  5. Assists Cardiothoracic Surgeon with interoperative Transesophageal Echos.
  6. Maintains required education for Echo/Vascular accreditation.
  7. Completes other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Job Specifications:
  • Education: Prefer graduate of approved school of Cardiovascular Technology, Vascular Technology and/or Echocardiography (as noted by ARDMS approved schools list). Prefer RDCS and/or RVT but will consider registry eligible individuals.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 year clinical cardiology and/or clinical vascular experience.
