Cardiac/Vascular Sonographer | Largo, FL | PRN (As Needed)

We're currently inviting experienced Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work closely with physician partners, provide compassionate patient care, and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging across a variety of clinic sites.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Perform sonographic scans for multiple modalities: General, Echo and Vascular
  • Commute to various clinic sites in assigned area.
  • Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
  • Create patient reports to assist the physician with documentation.
  • Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out cardiac/vascular anomalies.
  • Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
  • Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
  • Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
  • Cover a variety of clinical settings, including outreach clinics, which may involve extended commute times.
  • Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
  • Other duties assigned by managers.

IS THIS YOU?
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)(RCS)(RCCS)
  • Experience performing vascular ultrasound exams
  • Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related specialty
  • Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
  • Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
