Job Description
What Youโll Do:
โข Prepare patients for dental procedures by ensuring comfort and explaining what to expect during their visit.
โข Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments.
โข Sterilize dental instruments and prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
โข Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist and ensure all images are of diagnostic quality.
โขUpdate patient records with information about treatments performed, procedures scheduled, and any concerns raised by patients.
โข Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions and guidance on oral hygiene and preventive practices.
โข Prepare and mix dental materials such as fillings, impressions, and bonding agents as needed for procedures.
โข Manage appointment scheduling, patient communications, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
โข Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, adhering to all infection control protocols
Salary Range
Full-time $22 - $25 per hour
Salary based on experience.
Shift & Schedule
Work Hours:
โข Tues, Wed, Fri: 9 AM โ 6 PM
โข Sat: 9 AM โ 2 PM
Requirements
- Experienced Dental Assistant (2+ years)
- Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
- X-ray / Radiography Certification
What Weโre Looking For:
โข 2+ years of experience in dental assisting
โข Proficient in making temporary crowns, taking impressions, and pouring up
โข X-ray certified & skilled in tray setups
โข HIPAA & OSHA certified with knowledge of dental instruments & sterilization methods
Preferences
โข Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
โข Excellent communication & people skills โ because patient care comes first!
โข Well-organized, reliable, and flexible
