Job Title: Radiation Medicine Therapist
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $43.00 - $55.00 per hour
Location: Boston, MA - Onsite
Position Summary
As a Radiation Medicine Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate radiation therapy treatments to patients undergoing cancer care. Working alongside a multidisciplinary Radiation Oncology team, you will utilize advanced treatment technology while ensuring patients receive exceptional clinical care and support throughout their treatment journey. This part-time opportunity offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift
  • Shift details: Part-Time
  • Hours per week: 20
  • The schedule is every Thursday & Friday and every other Monday from 7a - 3:30p.
Key Duties:
  • Administer prescribed radiation treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders
  • Prepare and position patients for treatment while ensuring comfort and understanding of procedures
  • Review treatment plans, dosage requirements, treatment schedules, and patient charts
  • Monitor patients during treatment and assess for treatment-related side effects or changes in condition
  • Document treatments, collaborate with physicians and physicists, and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
