Job description

About the Role
Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-tech environments? We're looking for an experienced Foreman to lead field teams on hyperscale data center construction projects-ensuring every installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
In this role, you'll be the driving force on-site-coordinating teams, managing logistics, and keeping projects aligned with scope, schedule, and safety goals. You'll oversee installations across structured cabling, OSP, splicing, security, and BDA/DAS systems, while mentoring your team and maintaining exceptional client communication.
This is an opportunity to build critical infrastructure while leading a crew that takes pride in craftsmanship, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do - Lead with Purpose. Build with Precision.
  • Own the Job Site: Serve as the primary point of contact between field operations and site management, attending coordination meetings to align on schedules, safety, and logistics.
  • Lead the Team: Supervise, coach, and motivate operations staff to deliver safe, high-quality installations that meet project drawings, Division 27/28 specifications, and customer expectations.
  • Plan & Execute: Coordinate manpower, tools, and materials daily to keep projects on schedule. Review blueprints and layouts to ensure clarity and accuracy for your team.
  • Promote Safety: Conduct daily toolbox talks, enforce PPE compliance, and champion a zero-incident safety culture.
  • Ensure Quality: Oversee testing, labeling, and documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission. Partner with QA/QC for inspections, punch list closure, and MVP turnover.
  • Communicate Proactively: Collaborate closely with Project Managers, GCs, and client representatives to report progress, resolve challenges, and plan ahead.
  • Manage Materials: Coordinate requisitions, deliveries, and inventory with the procurement team to ensure just-in-time availability of tools and materials.
  • Mentor for Growth: Support team skill evaluations, provide on-the-job training, and guide field staff in developing their technical and leadership capabilities.
  • Document Everything: Maintain redlines, deviations, installed quantities, and progress reports to ensure project accuracy and accountability.
  • Recommend & Improve: Identify process, safety, or efficiency improvements and make recommendations aligned with best practices and industry standards.

What You Bring
  • 5-8 years of experience in data center or critical infrastructure construction.
  • 2-4 years of leadership experience as a Foreman or Lead Technician.
  • Deep knowledge of structured cabling, OSP/ISP, and low-voltage systems.
  • BICSI Technician (Tech) certification required; RCDD or OSP Specialist preferred.
  • Familiarity with Division 27/28 standards, QA/QC procedures, and documentation control.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specs, and testing documentation.
  • Installer certifications from one or more manufacturers (Leviton, Berk-Tek, SYSTIMAX, Panduit, etc.).
  • OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.
  • Ability to forecast staffing, materials, and project needs up to 4 weeks in advance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Office 365, Smartsheet, mobile applications).

Why Join Us?
  • Impact: Lead the teams that power the backbone of today's digital infrastructure.
  • Growth: Develop your leadership skills and advance your career through hands-on experience and mentorship.
  • Teamwork: Work with skilled professionals who value safety, quality, and precision as much as you do.
  • Culture: Be part of a company that invests in people and takes pride in doing the job right.
  • Reward: Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to make a visible difference every day.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Work performed on active construction sites-adherence to safety protocols required.
  • Regular standing, walking, climbing, bending, and use of tools and testing equipment.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision for terminations and inspections.
  • Some travel may be required to and from work sites.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
