Job description

Make an impact supporting students and educational teams as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a contract position located near Alexandria, VA. This opportunity offers the chance to apply your expertise and compassion in school settings, working collaboratively to implement behavioral intervention plans and foster positive outcomes for children.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Prior experience supporting students in educational or pediatric environments
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to maintain detailed documentation and data collection
  • Compassion, patience, and adaptability in diverse learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 1:1 or small group behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Support the development and implementation of behavior plans tailored to student needs
  • Collect and report accurate behavioral data
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistency and progress
  • Foster a supportive environment for students with a range of behavioral, social, and communication needs
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required
