The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Enterprise Services Team:

In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to digital infrastructure service owners across RTX to support development and execution of our long?term infrastructure strategy. The role focuses on supporting enterprise decision-making across cloud, data center, network, and edge services by aligning supplier capabilities with RTX's future-state architecture.

A successful candidate brings extensive consulting experience on infrastructure technologies, both Cloud and on?prem as well as network services, mobility solutions, and modern infrastructure operating models. A strong understanding of how supplier ecosystems support scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure, is essential.

You will leverage your strategic consulting experience in negotiations with suppliers to ensure RTX infrastructure roadmaps are supported by cost optimized, robust, high-performing capabilities.

What You Will Do:

  • Leverage strategic consulting experience to assist infrastructure service owners in defining and advancing enterprise infrastructure strategy and multi?year roadmaps
  • Strategic planning for supplier roadmap which includes cost out, new technology introduction, AI, operational simplification
  • Evaluate emerging technology trends and translate them into actionable recommendations for cloud, data center, network, and security service domains
  • Shape strategic supplier engagement models that support RTX's technical, operational, and financial objectives
  • Guide key supplier relationships (e.g., Azure, AWS, Cisco, Dell, HPE, Oracle, Palo Alto, Zscaler, AT&T, Verizon) to ensure alignment with RTX's long-term infrastructure vision
  • Lead high?impact negotiations ensuring supplier capabilities, contracts, and performance commitments align with planned infrastructure initiatives
  • Provide executive?level analysis, business case development, and financial modeling to support investment decisions
  • Collaborate with architecture, cyber, engineering, legal, finance, and global trade to ensure infrastructure strategies and supplier engagements reflect RTX priorities and compliance requirements
  • Oversee supplier performance, governance routines, and risk assessments with a focus on reliability, resilience, and innovation
  • Assess market shifts, regulatory impacts, and competitive intelligence to inform future-state infrastructure planning
  • Coordinate portfolio?level strategies that optimize infrastructure cost, performance, and operational outcomes across RTX business units

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • University Degree and a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience
  • Extensive infrastructure strategy consulting experience with Fortune 500 companies
  • Advising on cloud modernization, data center transformation, network strategy, and hybrid/edge architectures
  • Demonstrated ability to assess complex infrastructure environments, develop actionable multi?year strategies, and guide executive?level decision-making
  • Experience leading or supporting large-scale infrastructure organizations or modernization programs
  • Analytical and strategic problem?solving skills, with experience developing business cases and presenting technical and financial recommendations to leadership
  • Communication and relationship-building skills with proven success influencing across matrixed enterprises

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
